Should I come with clean, wet, or dry hair?
Please arrive with freshly washed, fully dried hair, with minimal to no product. This allows me to see your natural texture and work efficiently.
If your hair has heavy product buildup, hasn’t been washed recently, or is styled in an updo, I may need to adjust the order of your service. This can result in a fluffier finished product, as the dry cut would be done after washing and styling.
Where should I park? How do I easily locate the salon?
Park in the large lot by the Poinsettia Coaster Station.
You can get directions to Invita Cafe (6806 Embarcadero Lane). Those directions should bring you to the big parking lot that is shared with the Poinsettia Coaster Station. If you walk up the stairs to Invita, turn right and head halfway down the complex, you will find The Curl Loft (the numbers on the buildings go out of order so please ignore that).
Do I have to book a consultation before booking a service?
As a new color client to me, yes, you would book a ‘Color Consultation’. This way I can determine if we are a good fit, and have a clear goal in mind. You will also receive a time & price quote.
If you are looking to receive a haircut service, book a ‘New Client Curly Cut’ or ‘Traditional Haircut’ depending on which service best suits your texture (service descriptions are found when booking). ‘Express Cuts’ are for existing clients only.
What is your cancellation policy?
I get it- life happens! But to cover the day’s costs and keep my business running smoothly, I have a strict, no exceptions cancellation policy:
Cancelling or rescheduling less than 48 hours will result in a 50% charge of the service fee.
Same day cancellations result in 75% of the service fee.
No-shows are to be charged 100% of service fee.
When a client is more than 15 minutes late, this may result in having to reschedule the appointment and a fee of half the service due to being late; or I can try to do my best with the time we have together- which may mean leaving out dry time/last bits of the finishing process. Thank you for understanding, and keeping the schedule on track!
